Description
Climbing rope. It’s serious stuff and if you’re not doing it then you’re missing out. Here’s why.
Being able to pull your body weight up a climbing rope is one of the toughest things you’ll do. There’s only a small percentage of athletes that can do it but it’s worth the effort. Your grip and upper body strength will go to an entirely new level.
It’s not an exercise for the weak at heart and it’s not something that you’re going to be able to do right away. But…
If you’ve got the discipline and dedication, you can learn to climb rope and match it with serious athletes like martial artists, military and gymnasts.
Specifications
Our climbing rope is made of sisal. It’s 5 cm thick and incredibly strong. The sisal material is ideal for getting a solid grip and minimising rope burn and slippage.
It also has a solid steel clamp which makes it easy to mount and prevents the rope from fraying. Set up takes a few seconds and then you’re away.
Warning
It is highly recommended that a crash mat be placed beneath the rope when using. Ideally, the rope should be installed and tested by an engineer. We do not take responsibility for the strength and integrity of the structure the rope is mounted on. Always test and check the strength of the mounting bracket before use.
Climbing Ropes are specifically designed for indoor use only. Subjecting the rope to consistent moisture will cause damage to the rope and steel clasp that could cause failure. Warranty and liability will be waived if climbing Ropes are used outdoors or in Moisture rich environments such as aquatic centres.
